NSD-S HUB VISITS SEVERAL KEY ORGANISATIONS IN DAKAR

The NATO Strategic Direction – South Hub delegation visited Dakar, Senegal from January 28 to 30. During the visit, the Hub team had an opportunity to meet the representatives of West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP), Institute for Security Studies (Dakar office), Timbuktu Institute as well as the offices of the United Nations Department of Safety and Security and General Directorate for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO).
During the meetings, the representatives of the Hub presented to the potential partners the vision, mission and most important landmarks of the Hub. bOTH sides exchanged their views on the situation in the region, the threats and opportunities, activities of civil society that are taking place in Senegal and surrounding countries.
