NATO MILITARY COMMITTEE VISIT JFC NAPLES

The Military Committee (MC), the most senior military element of NATO visited the Joint Force Command Naples (JFCNP) HQ on Fri 21 Feb 20, with the overarching intention of learning about the NATO Strategic Direction – South (NSD-S) Hub (aka the Hub). The MC (including 40 plus 2 and 3* Generals from across all 29 NATO nations), received Hub presentations on both the history of the Hub and its future developments. There was also a working lunch with stands detailing Hub activities, and an opportunity for the MC to visit the Hub for coffee.

The visit was considered a great success, certainly from the Hub's perspective, and the MC left with a much more comprehensive understanding of the Hub and its remit within the overall NATO structure. The MC now understands how the Hub is constantly adapting and is ready to face new challenges in full support.
