On 17 January 2020, the NSD-S HUB had the pleasure to host Lieutenant Colonel Luis Bernardino, a Portuguese Army Officer, who briefed the Hub team on the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP). Lieutenant Colonel Luis Bernardino gave the Hub Team a geopolitical characterisation of the CPLP, enlightened about the role of Portugal in the CPLP and its contribution to the security in Africa.
This event highlighted the opportunities for the NSD-S HUB to establish future synergies, especially related to Peace and Security in Africa.
